I haven't a clue what's going on with this but give my workaround a try to see if it works for you.Īddendum: I just tried it with Spin Doctor X and it worked without any workaround. My choice was to save them as AIFF to the hard drive but I could have sent them to iTunes using the convert preset. I looked at their description and the track length in Toast and kept just four that matched. Although I only had four tracks, 16 tracks showed up in Toast. I selected the tracks in the CD Spin Doctor list and dragged them over the Toast 11 Convert window with Audio Files selected as the format. I separated the tracks again and labeled them all then pulled them into a folder on the desktop and from there into iTunes with the same results -all tracks hosed. So the solution for now has to be with CD Spin Doctor. I haven't been successful using Spin Doctor X to export tracks from imported AIFF files.

I'll try to find some time today to do some testing on my Mac. Does the same problem appear? If not, drag those to iTunes. In CD Spin Doctor try dragging the tracks from the track list to the Finder and play them from the Finder. Maybe this is a result of a system update. I believe I've read another user's post about a similar issue. In iTunes track 1 is fine all the rest of the tracks are fragments of track #1 played over and over. When I listen to the tracks in Spindoctor they are fine (just the way they should sound.) When I send them to iTunes and listen to them track 1 is fine but all the rest of the tracks copied are fragments on track #1. I have all the latest updates to Itunes and I am running 10.6.8 on my Mac. then opening the file captured and separating the tracks, labeling them and sending them to itunes. What I am doing is streaming music from the internet and using Audio hijack to capture the sound.

And tried Spindoctor 10 again (I Have all the latest updates) but that didn't help. I followed your advice and trashed all the .plist files.

What is the trouble you're having with CD Spin Doctor?Īs for total removal of the Toast 10 and 11 bundles, there are the folders in the Applications folder, plist and prefs files in your user library for each app and some content in the User>Library>Application Support>Roxio folder. There's a lot of discussion in this forum about how Spin Doctor X is not entirely working so you do need to keep CD Spin Doctor from Toast 10, at least for awhile longer. Maybe all you need is to trash the .plist file in your user>Library>Preferences folder and relaunch CD Spin Doctor.
